I am pleased to announce two additions to my extended family. These two beautiful girls were born to my wife's niece Danielle at midnight and 12:30am last night.

On the left is Aubry Rose weighing in at 6lbs 5oz
On the right is Chloe Ann weighing in at 7lbs

Mama and babies are doing great. It was a normal delivery with no complications. Done the old fashioned way ;)

Andrea snapped this with her phone during a quick visit this afternoon. I haven't had the pleasure of their company yet. A circumstance I plan to remedy this very soon 8-)

Awww Dennis, how precious they are.

The one on the left, Aubrey....she has that one eye slightly open as if to say. "Can't you let a girl get her beauty sleep already" while her sister slumbers on...

Just makes me want to pick them up and hug them. I swear there is no better aroma in the universe than that newborn fresh baby powder smell.

They are just so cute, would not be able to contain myself, I'd have to hold them! Beautiful names, and good sizes for twins! Double trouble heartbreakers is what I predict!

I finally got to see them yesterday.

There is nothing like leaning back on a comfy couch and laying a newborn on your chest. Then you can just tilt your head forward bit and sniff that "new baby smell" in thier hair 8-)

Very cool stuff...
