Not able to see either TO2TKA, but I saw my first robin yesterday, March 15th. No flowers here yet, my weeds have yet to start their productively bloomin' ways.

It was in the 60 degree range here today, but, the direction of the sun vs the view to the courtyard of my aprtment complex leaves a grand line of snow right outside my window, while the rest of the yard is dry and free fron the drifts.
This lends itself to whatever air comes in an open window to pick up the cold damp of the melting snow and not the warm sunny fragrant scent of the warm Earth. I tried and I hoped for the warmth of the sun and the freshness of the air, but it was damp and cold off the last of that snow and there was no freshness to be found. The stink of the wet and the cold of sunless shadowed places felt like a cloak of doom and smelled of the left over death of autumn. Sun needs to get a bit higher in the sky to ward off this last bit of winters breath. But the Cardinals are back in the trees, and the squirrls are scrurrying around the the trunks of the great pines. The signs of life are awakening, and in just a bit of time, life's renewal will be in full blossom again and the hope and certainty of another cycle of living will be reborn. Be Blessed each and Everyone! |

Beautiful! I also love the purple ones.
I think I'm going outside to enjoy the rest of the day. Georgous here, but the only thing in my garden is dirt. Spring can't get here soon enough! Beth |

Are the purple and the yellow ones crocus'? I have a daffodil just like that, unfortunately, my daffodils have pretty much quit blooming!

My daffodils don't bloom any longer either. I separated them but it hasn't seemed to help. I guess they are just old.
I have a lot of work to do in the garden this year. Every rose bush died from a disease... Rose Rosette. It's going to be a pain to replace them all. The Bradford Pare Trees are beginning to bloom here. They get so beautiful! Jeannie |
