Guys...For those of you who have never met him, he is one kick in the ass guy.   He is so intelligent, he has one of the cutest little kids in the world and he's funny beyond belief. he put on a super emotional presentation at a convention AND......he's got a whole lot of letters after his name.   ;)

On the convention thread below on the meetings board there is also a auction thread.


A lot of you have already seen it ...but for those that haven't,  we need items to auction off.  All proceeds go to OUCH which is there for all of you to keep us sufferers in the public eye and get the word out.

Please see the auction thread if you have any questions of what has been donated in the past, etc.  We're not looking at  expensive pricey items here.  Just donated things like art work, photographs in frames, Mosaics( ;)) etc.   anyway see below on convention thread.

The contact name is Patrick who is a sufferer but you may not know him, since he doesn't post here a lot.  trust me though...he's a great guy and is taking over from me from last year.   He is also the OUCH secretary and is doing a fantastic job at that too.

Now... go and figure out what you can donate to the cause around here.

Woah! I know they were talking about possibly St Louis, but also Vegas as well. Once again, I am FREAKED that St Louis will be the gathering place for the convention (I just wish Goadsby would've been here THIS year, but can't have everything.) I am just amped.

"Try"?  That should be "will"  ;).  I'm with Linda here on her description of Eric!

I will be making my reservations later on today.  I'll be leaving on Tuesday, driving to Memphis, staying the night there (I just can't make long drives any more, I'd be crippled and unable to walk) and getting into St. Louis, hopefully well before noon on Wednesday.  Don't know if Sarah will make the trip with me this year.  She's job hunting, so that will affect whether she comes or not (although I talked to her last night and it's looking good).

See everybody in July!

When you all were looking at the convention agenda did y'all note that Jr. Brew and his band will be playing on Fri. night?  if they're even half as good as Brews band was in Milwaukee, we're in for a treat.  

They have so very graciously donated their time and talent for free to OUCH, so I will make sure there is a tip jar near them..  ;)

I'm telling y'all, these guys are unbelievable. The two guys who share the lead vocals - Joe and Roy - have soul that most 40-year-old singers don't have. And the musicianship of all three is rare.

Linda, you put out the tip jar - it'll be our job to fill it up. It's a long way from Milwaukee to St. Louis and back.

All this talk of bringing the brats chillun' is killing me ... I just do NOT have the funds to bring my two youngest rug rats, this year ...

I have SO enjoyed them, on these trips, when they are with me ...

I am not at liberty to talk about any changes to the agenda at the moment pending confirmation, but as it is right now Royce Fishman will be speaking on Sat. morning.
