O.K. All of you old timers here who have been to a lot of conventions, can you help me out with something?

1.  What hotel (name) were the conventions in,  starting with Atlanta?

2.  There are no pictures of the last 2 conventions on the link to the left of here.   Does anyone have any that they can post?  We've got a 2 yr. gap here.  All of the pictures I have were with a disposable camera so I am of no help.

     I am asking for someone who wants to do something for the auction and it would take me ages to go back into the archives to research this.   I thought more minds would make less work.

    help us both out here....please.  pretty please with sugar on it?

I have to look at my driver's license every morning, just to remember what my name is ... And you want me to remember back to what the hotel names were?  Are you nucking futs?  LOL!

I DO have my own pictures of the conventions from Nashville (my first) and on ... I can see if I have any shots of the hotels, so that I can get a name ...

Beeyul should have plenty of shots ...

exactly.  I've been to all of them except for Las Vegas, the 1st. one because I was sick....but I cannot remember the names of the hotels either.

Pegg, I thank you,  but taking pics out of my album and trying to figure out how to send them to you is beyond my understanding, but I thank you for the offer.

Are there things people remember from different conventions that stick out in your mind?

Like I said....i'm posting this for someone else who would like to know these things in relation to an auction item.

Although I'm not an old timer Linda perhaps I can make a suggestion that will quickly solve the problem. The name of the hotel should be in O.U.C.H.s financial material... I think there might be a list of it in the books for those years.

They should also be relatively easy to access.

I believe the 2003 NY convention in Alexandria bay was the Pine Tree Point resort.

i have crs and i am going to my first convention , does that mean you are going ask me in two years the name of the place. i will be lucky if i remember going. ;D

Elaine would know Atlanta's hotel name and Bonnie W. would know Vancouvers'.  I cannot remember back that far, lol. :P

Wasn't it a Holiday Inn - just outside of Atlanta?  I have the correct name at home so can look it up tonight if you don't hear from Elaine first.
