We are already doomed Bill. The name of the new stadium is "Citifield" after the bigboy bank. I drove by on Sunday and it looks beautiful--Shea is completely down and has been made into a large parking area. The Brewers look good--They'll be there in the end.

Well of COURSE the Brewers will do well...they have most of the best of MY PADRES! Who will be reliving the glorious 70's when we routinely lost 100 plus games a year.....sigh :'(....at least today we're still tied for first.....

Not to rant....but  opened my sports section this morning...now the $#@#%%$@ Brewers are trying to trade for Jake Peavy...one of only 2 major league pitchers left on our roster. Death, where is thine sting??? :'(

Maybe if we come across some extra money, we'll make it down to one this year. :)
