I've just come off the phone after a TWENTY minute phone call with the good professor about my blood results.

HE WAS CRYING.

He rang me up himself and his voice was breaking, I about crapped.. but he was so excited, so happy, so ecstatic - he was about to leave to go to get a flight to Israel where he's going to be lecturing but he wanted to phone me himself first.

THATS how much of an impact it had for him.

My bloods are FLIPPING AMAZING!!!

For the first time since 2006 I have a phosphate level that registers! Everything else has improved so dramatically he had them repeat every single test!

Some of them are still way over what they should be or way under but the improvement is so immense that that's irrelevant almost. He said this kind of improvement is almost unheard of and he was calling it a miracle! Doctors don't USE words like that!!!

I know it was a miracle though and I know that miracle is you lot here at ch.com. Love can move mountains and this is proof.

Two weeks ago my bloods were still drifting along with no changes in several weeks apart from worsening and then I went through a huge amount of pm's with people asking me how I was doing and sending love and prayers on top of all the ones I know I get all the time and WALLOP!! I AM a drama queen! LOL GOOD Drama though!!

I'm still reeling - I don't even know if this is making sense or not - I'm just so excited, so happy and so wanted to tell you all asap.

I'm knackered and I feel like crap but thats okay because I know I may feel it and may look it and may still be losing weight etc but SOMETHING is going right and something important at that!! WOOO HOOOOOO!!!!

Whew!  I was a bit apprehensive to even open this thread up, BUT, I am sooooooooooooooooooooooo glad that things are going much better for you!  

I would do the happy dance, but I'm a little tired and I might trip over my own feet, fall and hit my head or break a bone, end up in the emergency room, get a fantastic looking ER doc, come back here, tell you and about it and then have to listen to you pi$$ and moan about not having a fine looking doc to look at  ;).

I've got some more of the figures now - and one that kind of amuses me is my parathyroid reading!

The "normal" range should be between 12 and 70.

Two weeks ago mine was 964, almost over by 900 points and on weds it was 755! I know that's still almost 700 over but it's an improvement of over two hundred in two weeks!

I also know thats not a sustainable rate of improvement but hells' bells it's a good start and it IS a start (I refuse to acknowledge the times it's got as low as 355 before climbing again - that ain't happening this time!)

The others weren't as dramatic but every single result showed improvement although some of the results conflict apparently - but I don't care! I don't exactly follow rules anywhere else now do I?!

Carolyn - you can have all the hawt doctors you want! I've never had the urge to fancy doctors who are fascinated by colonoscopies etc.. in fact I consider that to be a definite character flaw!

Thank you everyone for all your vibes and support, you've all got me through the darkest of times when I didn't think.. well never mind about that!
