I love the water and the pointy roots and the mansion and doesn't that house need a few more outdoor knickknacks??

Beautiful, as usual! If I come to LA will you teach me? You make it look effortless, and I have trouble getting a recognizable picture.

Liked them all, but that first one is stunning, the light and the greens really shine , almost like I could walk into the photo

Great shots. The photo of Melrose Plantation is very evocative of another time. Outdoor knickknacks weren't done at the time, Mel.

...Although now that you mention it, a few flamingos wouldn't hurt... ;)

Why DO cypress trees have knees, anyway? It seems a very decorative thing to do--like Cadillacs with fins.

Well Jerry, make it to convention this summer and you can go out with me and Bill (I'm coming up a day early so we can have some time to take pictures) and anybody else who wants to tag along. For me, composition is not that difficult, I see something that I like and I take a picture (I do discard quite a few pictures that don't have what I thought I saw), but the technical part leaves me clueless ;D.
