In the last week I've spent about $120.00 on everything I need, except for a glass grinder, to begin making stained glass art.  Last thing I ordered was a video, because I cannot afford to take classes.

I better be good at this!! ;D

This addiction can get expensive . . . and I don't even do traditional stained glass. . . .

Pat- I've wanted to do stained glass since I was in my early 20's, but never thought I'd be good at it.  Mosaics was the closest thing I've ever done! (I still love doing them btw).  I have read through all the posts in the SG section of the forum, and have a few other sites bookmarked as well.  When I get into something, I dive in head first, LOL!

I've never seen a single project or hobby that you haen't been great at.

The Crosses, the balloons, the diaper cakes, all of it.  Please don't sell yourself short.  You are a very gifted person at crafts and whatnot.  (I envy you and Pat and others that have the gift)

I can't even call it a flaw because it's not...I can only say that your interest in learning to do and accomplish MORE is your only...flaw, and again it's not flaw at all, but the language to express this escapes me right now.

You are gifted with the passion to keep exploring something new, something interesting to you.  You are the sponge for the knowlege of all things crafty.  

If you weren't a Christian, you make a damn fine Witch...Just kidding, sorta. ;)

I started working with stained glass many moons ago and loved it but quit when I went back to school.  Just couldn't find the time for hobbies at that time in my life.  I loved working with stained glass and I think you will too.

Wish we lived closer.....I'd love to get back into that craft and we could do first aid on each others' fingers when we cut them. :)

As crafty and talented as you are I am sure you will create some beautiful art.
