I am home,
Like this place life keeps changing for me. Like this place all the changes are wonderful. I been trying to keep up with things here but some times it is hard. I do send a email when I read some one is hurting. IIt is faster than a post most of the time.
Homeschooling has really taken up a lot of my time. We have joined a co op group. We meet one time a week and each of the Moms teach a class. Its a lot o fun. We go on field trips one time a month. It has just been a go go go year for us.
I just wanted to check in and tell DJ and the admins here that I think all the changes are just wonderful. I remember when I first came here 10 years ago this month. I still get that same wonderful feeling I did when I first came here. Ya'll remember that feeling...no longer alone, the tears that came.. This place is a place that you will never forget no matter how long you are away. This is home.
There is no place like this place. This place changed my life, and I think I can find a post on each one of you that has said the same thing. How do you thank a man and his family for changing your life?
I wasn't living till I found this place. Now I have a life, its wonderful.
DJ Thank you Thank You and your lovely family for making it all possible. Oh by the way I remember when we only had one board, it took awhile to get use to it but when we did we loved it. Now the changes with the new Moderators is Great. You picked such nice people who are respected as you are by all. Man you do good work. I love you guys.
It is so good to be home. Summer vacation will be here soon and I  plan to spend most of it right here.

I sure have missed you all.

Actually....it was a much easier board then.   Not as professional or as informative...but much easier to navigate for a newcomer to the computer to use.  You started a post....and every response was directly beneath it.

You don't.   There is no way to thank him properly.  I was...as many others were/are  on the brink of suicide..A lot of us owe our very lives to this place and the support, information it has spawned.   Not to mention all the world wide OUCH groups.

Yay it's "My laine"!!! LOL You know that's what Jasper calls you don't you? He's called you that since you sent me my little envelope back in 2004 that STILL goes everywhere I go..

Way back then he used to love to look at it and he still does comment every time he see's it. He was only just about 2 then and he'd say My laine made that for you didn't she mummy? That transpired from My friend Elaine to My Elaine to simply My Laine which is how you've remained and you are mine - blow everyone else LOL

Thank You Jackie, I am real proud of him. He is our little Man. He starts a writing class this summer and he is excited about it. Authors teach the class. He starts next week end.
