There is a saying in this country which was coined “get on your bike” Meaning go anywhere for a job, so why is it that the latest scandal to emerge from British politics is” claiming expenses for second homes” The latest includes, cost of an antique fireplace, a bath plug and believe it or not 2 porn video’s??.These MP’s are claiming 100’s of thousands of pounds for second homes to be near their place of work (what a laugh, Work!!!)

“It’s going to be a hard year and we are trying to give as much assistance as possible to those that need it the most” The Banks of course.

Yet they expect me to turn up and queue every two weeks to be grilled at where I’m looking for work, these grey unemotional figures sitting behind a desk.
All that for £60 a week.
I’ve been working longer than they’ve been born.
The only good politician is the one starting out on his / her career when they really believe and are not tainted by the money offered.
So if they expect me to travel anywhere for a job, which I would do! WHY do THEY insist on claiming for expenses on second homes?
These people are not celebrities they have been appointed to speak for US, what gives them the right to claim extortionate wages when the majority have so little.
Hopefully you may have a few things to add to this from across the pond
