We had a flurry of emails and phone calls on this today too. Our niece is studying abroad this semester. After going on line to read her lastest blog, determined she's in Northern Italy near Milan. Took a couple hours to actually REACH her and she confirmed she was fine and didn't even feel the quake. Phew.

Hope our Italian CH friends are ok as well.

One step ahead, Linda. I e-mailed her the day of the EQ. It could be taking time to get back up n running, or she could be safe somewhere, where the EQ didn't even hit, simply busy with life..... but, sheesh! I'd sure love it if she'd pop in!
