Title: Richard Falconi what an Arse..! Post by Lefty on Apr 7th, 2009 at 10:20pm
About a month ago when in the middle of my cycle
me Da seen what a crap situation I was in and started surfing the net for miracle cures for CH's. ( God bless him) I Didn't pay much attention at the time I had other things on my mind. A few days later I started receiving emails from this guy detailing the various treatments available. Every second day different email different treatment. Until recently his emails got alot sharper as he looks for payment for his Cluster Cure. I mean what a dick looking to make profit out of other peoples suffering. I know where would like to stick this empty tank of 02 sitting next to me, right up Richard Falconis [smiley=moon.gif] . Lefty..! |

If I recall correctly, he is from Waunakee, Wisconsin. Is this the same guy, Lefty?

Hmmm... I have just recently seen that CH book out on the net.
Without regard to who wrote the book, there is a niche for that in the marketplace. To a newbie CH sufferer, at the same time you are panicking with this new illness you are expected to educate both yourself and your primary physician. Keeping in mind that the bulk of sufferers might not be terribly internet-savvy, a book is pretty good commercial idea. A newbie to this site would probably have a bit of a rough time trying to figure out a plan of attack by just reading through our 'Medications' board... there is so much conflicting information. A book that both introduces one to the condition then discusses the 10 or 20 more effective treatments in some detail would be of great value to some. Hmmm. Maybe I will do that. I write my ass off as part of my job. Knocking out 100 pages of CH-related content would be easy peasy. |

Except that copyright infringement and plagerism are serious crimes.
I don't know the details of this particular book, but I know some have expressed these types of concerns. |

I read when DJ started this site that he absolutely refused to take
donations to help with the financial upkeep of the site blah blah blah. Well I think Kevin is spot on and this guy Falconi has just trawled these sites for 'FREE' and taken as much information as possible and tried to make a quick buck at our expense. Artonio that M tank looks good...! OUCH :'( Joe... here's the link to the cure we have all been looking for or sorry you guys already know you all wrote the book Falconi just stole the ideas and put them in print.... START PRINTPAGEMultimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!! You need to ![]() ![]() Lefty..! |

Yeah but, Rok, somehow I don't see you responding to a newbie's inquiring with, "THAT IS ON PAGE 42 OF MY BOOK "WAUNACURE". BUT IF YOU ACT NOW... Eliminates a lot of human element. If only the info was organized much better, his "research" would have been much easier. I don't think we forget what works or doesn't work for us each time a newbie asks, or... attempt to sell them the information. |

Absolutely Kevin... if his book is just a schill for his cure, then his book it worthless. If his book is 'cut & paste' plagiarism, then he is a criminal.
I speak of creation of a true 'CH Guide' of sorts. A condensed version of our combined experiences. Not 'cut & paste' plagiarism, but a completely original work. |

Wadya think here. Include the word "cure" in the title: Quote:

Ambitious. Long story as opposed to some fictiously created market for a cure. This site suffices well for any full experience if one just hangs around. Hard to picture it more fulfilling reading without the involvement. Incomparably, Jane Goodall sat in the jungle for years to make us care about her insights. Please excuse, this sounds a weird thought deterring so far off subject, but that's a book about observation of a sort of culture getting across successfully. |
