I was looking up Easter traditions around the world, and found this for Norwegians.

  Easter in Norway
Easter Holiday is strongly rooted in Norwegians. Officially it's holiday from Good Thursday until Easter Day.

Most Norwegians go up to the mountains and the snow. It is believed that the reason why they do this is that the first Norwegian was the tribe's fool. At the end of the last glacial epoch, he left the tribe and stumbled after the retreating ice ending up in Norway. The conclusion is very simple that he is still doing the same thing! When one, unbelievably, has survived yet another cold, dark and freezing wintertime and the magic of spring at last occurs then the Norwegians still go up to the mountains hunting for snow and ice.

In Norway everyone plays the game known as the egg-knocking game.

Happy Easter to you all.  Shade is not feeling well, so I will be going with fewer than a few crew to church.

It's a sunny day here.  We're headed to church for the youngest grandson's first Easter service.

Wishing you all a lovely day...
