You know, you'd think it would be. But maybe it has to be blessed by a rabbi. You just NOW asking this question? How long have you been a c-head? |

A Rabbi's blessing does not make something kosher. Kosher translates to mean clean. In order to be kosher something has to be grown, harvested, killed, produced, or whatever process(es) it takes to create the object, in approved methods, under close scrutiny, making sure that everything is done in standards that have been set down. Then there are different levels, or kinds of kosher. Some items may be kosher for daily use, but NOT for high holidays. It is a VERY complex set of rules, and procedures to get something approved to be labeled as kosher. OK, now I have to go get cleaned up, so that this token goy can go enjoy a Passover Seder at the ex-wife's house. AND I get to have some of her matzo ball soup! I have to say, the ex makes the BESTEST matzo ball soup!!! The absolute BESTEST!!! Chuck |

Hey, B....happy Pesach........
and, Chuck, all that stuff you quoted is true, but, ya know how it's done, ya born-again goy? A RABBI sits over the procedures to be certain it is all cleaned propery, and then ya know what he does?? He certifies it, commonly known as blessing it! :P YA PUTZ! It pays to have lived in a predominantly Jewish neighborhood, as the token Gentile, I learned a lot! As for you, B........I wish you could enjoy Passover without the 02.....but, I did hear today, there is a company making chocolate covered matzohs........yummmmmmmmm....chocolate covered cardboard..... OOHH! I called you a name, Chuck.......either forgive me, or ban me...... your choice! :Dblame it on insanity cathi |
