WOOHOO !! !! !!

I would be willing to bet the sharpshooters were Navy Seals!

Whatever, I think it is an appropriate ending! Three less scumbags for us to waste money for a trial.

Actually it would normally be Marines who would be the designated shooters on a Navy ship. Its part of their job ya know.

According to a Navy Admiral, who is in the area, and in charge, stated that it WAS SEALS that were the sharpshooters ...

3 deadly shots free captain; pirates vow revenge

NAIROBI, Kenya -- An American sailor whose captain was rescued after a five-day standoff with pirates urged President Barack Obama on Monday to take the lead in ending the scourge of piracy.

Somali pirates, meanwhile, vowed retaliation for the deaths of three colleagues killed by U.S. Navy snipers in the rescue. Their anger raised fears for the safety of some 230 foreign sailors still held hostage in more than a dozen ships anchored off lawless Somalia.

Interviewed from Bahrain, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command chief Vice Adm. Bill Gortney said Navy SEAL snipers killed three pirates with single shots shortly after sailors on the Bainbridge saw the hostage-takers "with their heads and shoulders exposed."
