I just found this site a few days ago - have been having these headaches for 6 years now and am happy to see I'm not the only one!  I started this journey going through too many doctors with their own opinions until I finally landed on Dr. Peter Goadsby at UCSF.  Unfortunately, the news there was not what I wanted to hear.  But I did get an Occipital Nerve Block and this has actually given me some relief - I didn't see much about that in here - anybody? I got it on Thursday, felt it trying to push through 4 times on Thursday but it wasn't able to!  Then I did have one on Friday, none on Saturday, and 2 during the night Sunday.  This is much better than 6 - 10 hours a day with this pain.  But I insist on finding something that will work to get rid of it even if I have to do it myself!  So far the oxygen is the only thing that has given some relief over the last 2 years since I started on it.  Good luck to everyone.

Glad you found us, doubly glad you found Goadsby. You're on the right path there. I haven't ever had the nerve block but several on the board have. Hopefully they'll be along shortly.
