Ahhhh...tonight begins the 40th annual "Worlds Largest Trivia Contest", and the Sushi Stalkers of the White Hand will be headquartered at MY APARTMENT this year....
(what have I gotten myself into?)
Starting at 5PM this evening and running for 54 straight hours, there will be 7 young adults and myself in this apartment, as well as having a second branch of 8 young adults playing remotely from UW Plattville via skype/IM/and webcam.
Last year the team of 6 came in at the middle of the pack of 500+ teams. This year, though they don't portend to make it into the top 100, declare they will place much higher in ranking.
There are teams based all over the world, and I have read in some news stories that some of our fine Service Men based overseas have registered teams as well.
If you are interested in watching how this whole thing is worked out, you can access the UWSP TV station that will live stream everything from the opening parade all the way to final point standings at the link below.
