Mark Haddon? Mark Haddon is an author, illustrator and screenwriter who has written fifteen books for children and won two BAFTAs. His bestselling novel, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time was published simultaneously by Jonathan Cape and David Fickling in 2003. It won seventeen literary prizes, including the Whitbread Award. His poetry collection, The Talking Horse and the Sad Girl and the Village Under the Sea was published by Picador in 2005. Mark Haddon lives in Oxford.

Guess what... Mark is a fellow cluster head.

Here's a link to his blog where he talks about it.

Interesting.

I know who he is...I've read "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time".  Had no idea he was one of us.

Best,

George

I had no idea. I've read 'Curious Incident' and another one he wrote called 'A Spot of Bother'.

Did you just stumble upon this Tony?

I have not heard of him, I might have to go investigate a bit more. Is he any good?

"Curious Incident" is very good.  Written from the point of view of a boy with Asperger's syndrome.

Here's a review, if you'd care to take a look:

It got quite a bit of critical attention.  I haven't read his book of poetry, nor have I read "A Spot of Bother".  I may do so now.

Best,

George
