Title: You can leave your condolences here! Post by HappyElaine on Apr 20th, 2009 at 7:48pm
In the last month I have waken up to my husband or daughter giving me problems to solve. Honey the breaker keeps tripping, Honey the wall socket caught on fire. Would you please handle that today? Duh Call the electrician, they make three trips cost us $1000. Finally I fix the problem I move the TV and computer to another wall. No more breakers over load. Why didn’t I figure that out on my own? Duh
Mom the washer won’t work, can you handle that today? Duh I guess. Call the service man, turns out to be just the screen needed cleaning. Mom the oven blew up, can you handle that? Damn do I look like Mrs Fix it. So I call repair and they tell me I need a new one. I am not ready to spend that kind of money right now for a new oven, so when the guy came to work on the washer he fixed it for $50. Then Yesterday my husband woke me up, and before I could even get one eye open he said. Honey the water doesn’t work. Buddy do I look like a man, I am not the man, I am the wife the mama. Just one time could you fix something PLEASE! Buddy said I am sorry honey I can’t help it case my dad made me milk the cows and the other boys did the work around the house. All I know how to do is squeeze tits. I am right ready to squeeze something. Then he takes me down memory lane. I am sorry it’s hard to remember that far back. Today I handled it. I called the well people, had to replace a control box. $209 Buddy comes home and I TELL HIM WELL I HANDLED IT. We now have $3 left in the bank. He looks at me and says, you’re losing your touch in your old age, use to get us good deals, now they are charging extra. You can all list your condolences here FOR Mr. Buddy ;-) Deveny is safe at the moment! |

E-after all these years, my thoughts are going another way. Keep him.....train him to wash clothes, clean toilets, wash windows, vacuum floors, cook meals change beds and clean up........at least what he wants YOU to do is 8-5 work......... you could have HOURS of idle time if you simply tell him..."I'm the maintenance person. I'm off the clock at 4. Leave me a msg for tomorrow. I'll be in at 9am"...........ohh.and tell him you want a raise!!!!
Men, can;t live with em, illegal to shoot em.......... come to think of it, RIP, Buddy.....we'll miss ya! Cathi :D |

My condolances. I'm from Holland, if I send some tulips they'll have faded by the time they reach you, so I'll leave it at condolances.
BTW my partner and I share duties... If something's wrong with the washer or something like that I call him, if he has trouble playing his A-Team DVD's he gets me to play them :). Lottie |

OK he still around, but a much nicer LOL.
Big Dan Buddy said if you can build stuff, change cat litter, cut grass, do pluming, fix cars, come on, you just can't sleep on his number bed ! Joe, you so have a point there. We laughed our butts off when we read that. Jackie, yea Buddy has always had a way with words LOL. For all who don't know me, I post stuff like this hoping to make you guys smile. Buddy says things like that joking and I know it. Most of the time Buddy says the right things. We were made for each other. Buddys a good guy and we love each other dearly. Buddy even irons his own cloths, he helps a lot around the house. Just certain things he knows nothing about and he is a smart man, he doesn't want to learn LMAO! |
