Once i pulled the needle out too soon and watched the medicine shoot out of the needle for 3 secs ,then i flipped out cause i thought i screwed myself but it still knocked my headache out anyways. I just picked up 20 /6mg shots today otherwise i wouldve asked for these if i knew they were available . Im requesting these if i need more so ill be the lab rat if it comes down to it cause i hate taking all these meds.

I switched from 6mg to 4mg StatDose kits quite a while ago.  They reduce the side effects and you work just as well as the 6mg injections.  Plus you can use up to three in 24 hours if the need arises.

Having said that I'm an O2 addict.  With Oxygen therapy I have my Imitrex usage down to just a handful each cycle.

I also use the 4mg stat pen -

Mostly I use the 6mg vials with needles, but I like to carry the stat pen for when vials and needles just are not right.

Hello:

Now that the generic 6mg vials are available, I use 3mg, or 1/2 shots and can use it up to 4 times a day.  I prefill a few syringes (ultra fine 1/2 inch 1/2 CC 30 ga) and carry them in a stiff container in my belt pouch with some alcohol prep pads.  This is quicker to use than even the statdose pen and have even given myself shots on a city bus...

I just thought this method might help somebody.

Wishing you well,

Ray
