Title: Anyone know the whereabouts of a Dragon for slayin Post by cavalier on Apr 23rd, 2009 at 6:52pm
Woke up this morning early knowing it was going to be a long day.
Put on my trusty or should I say rusty armour “must remember to oil the mail before next year” strode out to the stables and collected my trusty steed, 21 speed with Campagnolo gears, climbed on and off again, a little lame, just a few minutes with the foot pump. Started my quest thinking where do I find a dragon, I’d heard a whisper there was one hanging around in the next village passing out undesirable literature to unsuspecting cattle. After a few puffs and pants arrived at the canal towpath “only another 20miles” “I need a drink” the nearest watering hole was only a mile away, pity the wrong direction. After servicing a couple of wenches and a barrel load of grog, felt a little peckish. Off to the nearest ye olde spit roast pig ride through, think it’s called Mac Arthurian, “it’ll never catch on”. Fantastic bit of technology, this wench shouts from behind the stocks “what do you want” and you reply “double pork on granary” they need a bigger menu! After my fill of pork, grog and wenches it was time for a sleep, you’ve all been there! Anyway, after I awoke and having done only 3 miles “it was getting dark” I thought sod it there’s next year. Looks like my dragon slaying needs to be more organised. I bet St George never had this problem |

Cav, I'm going to take a guess that you took a bike ride and stopped for drink and food. Am I right? Close even?

The way I read the Knight's Tale, you serviced the wenches before the barrel load of grog. ;) |
