My cycle started late in March, and is under control now with 720 mg Verapamil.  But I've been troubled by an awareness, at times, of my heart beating.  EKG and echo came back normal.  Now I'm wondering if these palpitations--if that's what they are--are part of my cluster cycle.  I know my blood pressure is up.  Does any of this sound familiar to any of you?

Im on 720 of verap. and my heart felt like it was off beat and in my stomach a few times , they did a ekg and said i was fine. Guess its from the meds cause it only happened 2-3 times and i wasnt getting a ch when i felt it. I think it might have been the predisone more than the verapamil as i havent felt one in a while ,but you didnt mention if you took anything else so now im curious. What other meds do they have you on, if any?

Since you have medical clearance your sensations are likely a new awareness of your body with the onset of CH.

We routinely miss all sorts of signals our body is giving off simply because there has been no problem to focus our attention. Now you are attending in a new way and become aware of what has, most likely, been occurring all along.

I get heart palpitations when I am in cycle.  Just out of nowhere during the day/evening.  Don't know what they are.  I know I have normal blood pressure.  I just kind of feel like my body is so out of whack when in cycle, it somehow causes the palpitations.  That is probably a dumb explanation, but don't know what else to think.  Also, was only using O2--no other meds.

I get them too.  All kinds of strange things start happening.  My menstral cycles go out of whack,  heart palpatations, hair falls out, excema flairs up like crazy.
