Title: CH coping idea!? Relief? Not really...
Post by ocnprl on May 3rd, 2009 at 6:55am
My CHs are back, but this time I vowed to try ANYTHING new to help get me through them. I took a couple ideas from this site, merged them with some of my own, and last night (the beast reared it's ugly head about a week ago), it seemed to help a little with the last 2 of the night. It wasn't much, but it kept a high 7 from getting worse unlike my first 2 which were 8/9's.
What I did, was the last 3 days I have just been drinking a shitload of water (gallons), I didn't smoke an hour before approx. starting time, and didn't smoke during the duration (about 5 hours). Then, I read somewhere while dancing, they held their arms over their head and repeatedly clenched their fists. I tried that with the last 2, my first 2 were too much to even think. I was still pacing and cursing, but they could have been worse, and seems like it took about 2 or 3 minutes (a lifetime for us) off the duration.
Gonna try it again tonight. I'll let you know how it goes...if it was just in my head, or actually helped about 0.01%. Anything shaved is worth it.
P.S. I was still on lots of meds, but they never really help anyway. That's why I excluded saying anything.
