A clusterheads poem about sleep, maybe you can relate,

Ah, sleep,

You used to be so good to me,
You used to be so kind,
You used to take good care of me,
Why did you leave me behind?


You once were the protector,
Of the girl that I once was,
Wrapping your arms around me,
Your embrace,  full of love.


Every night I would surrender,
Trustingly to your will,
Never thinking you would hurt me,
How I wish it were like that still.


Why have you abandoned me?
Why did you have to go?
Are you too weak? Too old? Too tired,
To fight this monstrous foe?


Now I have come to loathe you,
I curse your very name,
You, who invite the demons in,
Who else is there to blame?


I will however, forgive you,
For abandoning me in this fight,
If you would only come back to me,
And hold me through the night.


Oh sleep, please come back to me,
I'm sorry for what I said,
I don't hate, loathe, despise you,
Please take me back to bed.

thanks guys.   I think I have finally lost my mind.  Instead of writing love poems and songs to my husband,  i spend my time doing these strange things.  oh well, anything to pass the long hours  ya know?
