After just getting over double pneumonia,  where I couldnt take a deep breath without coughing uncontrollably,  I just had to give a round of applause to O2!!!!!

I didnt realize how much my CH would be affected if I couldnt breathe deeply.   This has made me quit smoking!!! and all the other smokers here should think about doing the same, because what are you going to do when you have emphysema, and you cant take a deep breath, and you cant get the O2 you need to treat your HAs.

Please think about it.

Chris, by the way, thanks for the empathy, I've had and still have many things, but have never had pneumonia. I have managed to quit drinking (been about 6 or 7 months now) and have cut my smoking in half, but going cold turkey...I don't know. I've been smoking almost 25 years, I need one bad habit, at least for a while. I've seen the horrors/results of long term smokers, and it's funny how addictive those damn things are. Some can't even be scared straight! Thanks to tobacco companies lacing smokes with extra nicotine and soaking the paper in sugar to make them burn slower...it's a fact!
That's one reason, until recently, you could by some imported or pipe tobacco and they didn't have the same warnings that U.S. smokes had on them. But I have learned to cut way down when I know approximately when a CH is going to happen.
