Title: Failed the Beer test
Post by McGee on May 21st, 2009 at 6:54am
Hi everyone,
I whent out yesterday with She Who Must Be Obeyed for a nice meal and a couple of beers as the sun was shining and everything was Fluffy and kitteny. 1st Beer whent down a treat no shadows no wierdness in my head and i was feeling confident finished my meal and decided to move further up the street to another beer garden was laughing and joking all the way there, sat my happy, tight and sexy arse on the chair and ordered my next beer. One sip later some git ran over and put a glowing red hot drill into my temple and started drilling behind my eye and down into my teeth.
40 minutes of trying not to run up and down the street like a lunatic on speed and it was gone. then proceeded to drown my sorrows untill 6 this morning.
there is no real question behind this post just wanted to share my experience and also ask
anyone got a good cure for a hangover  :-[ :-[ :'( :'( :'( :'(

Mark (feeling a bit delicate today)

Ouch.
You are in cycle?
Saying 'I went out for a few beers' when I am in cycle has about the same meaning as 'I decided to kick the shit our of a hornets nest'.

I thought/think/hope that im out of cycle ive had 2 hits over the last 2 weeks or more (not including yesterday) thats why i tried the beer test
i take it kicking the shit out of a hornets nest is not a good idea then lmao i live in germany, donīt think we have hornets  ;)
oh well back to the drawing board. at least aspirin got rid of my hangover and the well timed hugs  ;)

One surefire way to cure hangovers: stop drinking to excess. ;)

So true, another way is donīt stop drinking lol.

If i hadnīt drank last night I wouldnīt have got a taxi home and the driver wouldnīt have called the police to stop a drunk driver who was weaving around the road.

I can't help but wonder what would cause one to resume drinking after drinking has caused a hit.    If I have made the mistake of having a glass of wine or a beer too soon after being in cycle, there is no way I could bring myself to have another drink just after being hit.   That's just me though.

Wrong, if you got a hangover, you've already drunken to excess. You can't turn back the clock and drink less. Time reversal doesn't work in the macroscopic world.

IMHO, the worst kind of advice to someone who's already got into any sort of troubles, is the recommendation what he should have done different to not end up the way he did. It's not helpful at all, and sometimes even insulting.

Oxygen can help against a hangover. In fact, that's the only use of oxygen many doctors know from personal experience ;)

Hi Jeannie,
i only got hit the once and after i carried on and enjoyed the evening with my wife as we had planned. I work on the attitude that I will control this desease and not the other way round. My wife did ask me if i wanted to go back home but I said no as the hit was over and i could relax and enjoy the evening.

Ive took peoples advice and try to enjoy as much of the pf days as possible and  try not to sit and worry constantly of when im going to get hit again. It comes or it doesnīt and worrying will not prevent it.

Rats. Sorry about your getting hit.

Me? I only drink on religious holidays. Easter, Christmas, and Thanksgiving when I get invited for dinner.  8-)
