This is a question asked of me today from my grandson Harry,
Or “gramps what do you want from the gene”
After careful consideration said “I wish I could help all the people in the world with whatever problem they had”
Harry looked at me and said “I want an inside and outside pool”
“You get three wishes Harry” what else would you like?
Looking at him gazing into wherever young minds go he said “Id like the new Star Wars Lego ship” “And be rich”
At this point I had to say “being rich doesn’t bring you happiness Harry”
Again he looked and said “And the Nintendo Wii”
At this point I thought sod it; if you can’t beat them join them
Now let me see,
I’ve always wanted my own ice cream van, not that I like ice creams, just want to drive around slowly, jingle a ringing knowing that all parents are rushing around trying to find change so that their kids can fill their faces and spoil their dinners,
I can see it now, dads in pyjamas pulling on their slippers and dashing into the road.
“Cornet with nuts and juice please”
Another thing I’d like is a turf farm and introduce once mown grass, think about the money you’d save on lawn mowers, although it would take away the main excuse for men not to do any housework..Mmm perhaps not a good idea,
“Just cutting the grass honey”

BUT....as a secondary wish?  I wish for a mind like yours Colin.  

I can only think of one fervent wish - I don't want to see my loved ones in pain.

But I know how sly these Genies can be - if I were ever granted this wish, I'm sure the Genie would make me blind.  

I try to be careful for that which I wish.

I know what I wouldn't wish: To be an Oscar Mayer weiner!

Jesse has provided for us for 11+ years now, I just would LOVE to tie up the title in a little bow and give it to him for whatever holiday it is or for his birthday.

I'd rather be rich and unhappy than poor and unhappy.

1. Another hot rod for the wife. She keeps taking mine.
2. more money.

1)A cure for clusters and cancer.
2)Enough to get my family by for the next 10 or so years.
3)To be able to give my kids a better, smarter, and cleaner world than the one that I got.

Most of my life I've had a solid grip on where I was going, what I was I doing and what I wanted to get done. It always seemed to require large sums of cash - which was great when I had it.

Sure, I know how to give of myself in lieu of giving "things", but when I look around, I see too many people who just need a little financial boost to get up and running again. This isn't new, I've seen all of my 55 years of life.

Money provides the incredible freedom to give - that's why it's so important.

If I had a gene in a lamp?  Well, I have a gazillion in my cells and I'm still tha same old person I was when I was brought into this world 53 years ago.  I haven't lost any of my genes either.

If I had a magic lamp....Now y'er talking.  New hypothalmus for any one with CH?  Sounds good.  36 hrs in a day seems pretty good to me too!  While we are at it why not go for broke and wish folks with CH would take interest in HELPING OTHERS and get involved with OUCH!

If I could have my wish, it would be for everyone to have enough. Enough health, enough money, enough love, and enough sense to know it.

I'd wish for my sister back who lies in a long term care facility ravaged by Acute Disseminated Encephalo Mylitis and Pseudobulbar Palsy. She cannot move,speak nor swallow and is kept alive by a feeding tube in her stomach.
