Here is a link to a Snopes.com article that I received today. I thought it was very fitting for Memorial Day. It is a gift from the Russian people and a Russian artist to the American people in commemoration of the fifth anniversary of 9/11. I had not heard of this before. Maybe you have. It is definitely worth looking at.

I saw this last month. What a beautiful gift. It is too bad we haven't heard more about it. I shared it with my students and they loved it.
