does anyone in the global medical community tries to find the cause of ch?

There has been a little bit of study...........the problem is, we are so few in numbers there is no real financial incentive for any of the big pharmaceuticals to come up with a cure! We're just fortunate that a lot of the migrain meds have crossover applications to CH.

As to Dr. House....in real life somebody would have bitchslapped that boy to death years ago! (in my humble opinion!!!)

"CAUSE" --no. If you search the buttons, left, look for interviews with and about Peter Goadsby.

He is the English neurologist whose team discovered how a portion of the hypothalamus is involved in CH--but whether this is causal or only a secondary involvement has yet to be uncovered. But his work shifted the focus from CH as caused by blood vessels to it being a neurological disorder.

Another decade and we may have more to report.... <bg>

......you mean like at the and of 2010 we ll have a new report or at 2019?? :P
