Elaine is headed back to the hospital.  She's OK but one of the incisions is bleeding and they want her back in.  She'll probably be back home in a few hours.

Poor girl!  Nothing seems to go smoothly for her.

Understated! They are run by criminals. By forcing length of stay guidlelines on us, they in effect kill people. They are called Milliman Guidelines. (You can tell that I've been reading too much  :o ) I'm on my forth book on US health care.

They didn't do a darn thing but change the bandage, I soaked three bandages with blood so far. I came home went back to bed last night woak up a few minutes ago and this bandage is soaked. I am not going back to the hospital because I can't afford the deductible on the ER visits.
I will go see my doctor Monday and get him to put a stitch in it.
Yesterday I didn't hurt much, but all I can say this morning is OUCH,OUCH, OUCH,OUCH.!

Hey thanks for all the prayers. Charlie and Frank your right. But I wanted to come home. When I hurt I had rather be home.

I had great treatment in the Out patience clinic but man that ER sucks.

Well I just took a pain pill so I am going back to bed. The good thing about all this, is Deveny is when I fianlly get over the pain of the operation, maybe I won't be sick and will feel like being at the computer again.
I hurt so much before the surgery that I had gotten to the point I was staying in my bed cloths, I wasn't doing much of anything, not even being on the computer. This will be worth it if it makes the pain I was having go away.

Elaine - you have to be extremely careful if you are bleeding about infection. I can't stress that enough. doctors for you on Monday if for no other reason to make sure it's all clean and no risk of that, I'm worried - I just want you to be checked okay? Promise me please. I need you to do that

Helen, I am doing ok today hurt like the dickens but other than that I am fine. I took a shower today and then cleaned all five of my cuts and they look good. The one on my belly button is the one that hurts so bad, but it could be all the weight I have put on pulling on it.

Elaine....Put yourself in a prone position (Buddy will love that)  and elevate your feet.  Tell your daughter to get you a bell you can ring whenever you need something and then for Gods sake...STAY PUT!!!!!!!!!

Elaine - How you doin'?

I am doing great. Got up Friday morning and felt like a new woman.
No pain from the surgery and no pain from any thing.
Every now and then I get a stinging where the incision is. Other than that I am fine. I don't have any reflux, any pain in my chest like I use to. It is really nice. I called Jackie I think last Monday and told her I thought I screwed up. Then I sent her pictures of my incision. They are healing fast!
Do I miss my hot bladder, NO! When you get my age you don't want anything hot any more  ::)
