Title: Hi Again
Post by FrankF on May 30th, 2009 at 7:47pm
Back in cycle again a couple of weeks ago. I am seeing a new GP since my regular GP can't see me for another week (have I ever mentioned I hate HMO insurance?). But I hate seeing a new Neurologist even more. At least I don't have somebody trying to start me on Dopeymax.

So anyway, I gave the new GP my shopping list. Got the Imitrex injections. Got the verapamil. And sort of got O2 (except I need to work the wrong the face mask issue on Monday).

Hi again!

Thanks for the welcome Linda.  :)

I ordered one of the LifeGas masks from their store here so I should be OK (paid one day shipping so I should have it tomorrow I hope).

Next I need to work on getting 10 trex to last me a month until my doctor can get more authorized.

Yes I have been splitting them in half. Been thinking of thirds. I think I can probably get the doctor to fork over a couple of samples.

BTW... the labeling for Imitrex injections used to say something to the effect that "safety of using more than 10 doses per month has not been evaluated" (paraphrasing here). The labeling no longer says that.

Have new studies been done showing more than 10 doses is considered safe? I need to work on my insurance company (Aetna) because they are basing their quantity limit on the old labeling.
