Title: What happened? Post by kyitb on Jun 8th, 2009 at 2:58pm
So i was mid attack when i noticed that there was something wrong with me. Which as im sure you all know, there is so much wrong with you at that point. That feeling was followed by almost complete body numbness. I fell to the floor. Could feel my body convulsing but could do nothing. Sorta passed out for lack of a better term. When i came to the attack was gone i stood up. My nose felt like it had been smooshed and the back of my head hurt. I had also urinated. 10 minutes or so later i had another attack that was very intense.
What happened? Any ideas? Anyone else experience this? |

WOW!
While I am not a medical proffesional,I would suggest you get this checked out ASAP! This does NOT sound like any CH related event that I have ever heard of. |

This was a "911" event!
It could have been a stroke in process--at any age! |

Get to an ER pronto! You need to be checked out thoroughly! That is not like any CH I know of.

If your reading this I hope your back from the doctor with good news. This certainly does not seem to be a cluster attack. Not to scare you, but I had a mild stroke in 2007 with sort of the same symptoms only my left eye turned blood shot red almost burgundy red.

So i had a cat scan, chest x-ray and a lumbar puncture. Cat scan and X-ray negative. Still waiting for the results of the lumbar puncture. MT white blood cell count was sky high and they can't figure out why. No real news still waiting. Thanks to everyone for your support.

Are you also scheduled for an EEG perhaps? This test can help the diagnosis in patients with (epileptic) seizures.
Please keep us posted on how you are doing! Lottie |

I have actually had this happen up to 20 times a day and my doctors told me it was me fighting the pain with all I had that made me pass out and have seizures. I went the medical test route and the theory was confirmed. Meditation helped to stop fighting the pain so much and now I do not have seizures.
I honestly hope this is the case with you. What you are going thru sounds really scary! Big supportive hugs, Sophia |

That appears to me my story as well. All tests have come back negative. I definitely wear myself out fighting them. Any directions on meditation? Maybe a website i can go to to get me started. Would like to feel i can control it. I'll try anything...
