i was diagnosed with ch in jan iv been waiting to see  anuro reguarding neck pain and nubness in thr right side and was to see him reg teh ch too he totally dismissed teh ch and sai no way its just a bdad migrabe but why would i be diagnosed with ch if i was justa  migrane wand ive never headr of a migrae lasting4 days stright! im not sure what to do? they stopped my varapamil now too as said i dont need it it didnt work anyway but agggggggggggggggggggggg help? :'(

If your headache lasted 4 days straight, it's not cluster headache.  A cluster headache typically lasts 1/2 to 2 hours.

Bob P I wonder, but there are kind of headaches behind eye that can be continous?

I had typical pain behind right eyes but this cycle it happened only on the first day of my episode, next day it never stopped just ceased to low shadowing, and after 3 weeks big hits stopped as usual but the shadowing (its on both sides, once left once right once both once nothing shadows but that lasts for like... 10 minutes and only if I do not move at all, if I do single movement it returns) also the big hits were on right side, and shadows are on both sides.

Could it be migraine or rather hemicrania continua? I guess she should try indomethacin test, or perhaps it is secondary headache? Caused by Lyme disease, or perhaps some lesion in the head? Or maybe iron deficency or perhaps too much iron in the body?

Typically as Bob says the duration doesnt last that long.
Though cluster cycles can last for years on end the actual hits will come and go. They can be back to back hits but generally the pain will subside between hits. The attacks come in clusters versus constant. Like all the pain of 4 day migraine rolled up, condensed and released in its entirety in an hour.

I have had several migraines that were 4-5 days in duration.  I also get the eye pressure and have been known to get the stuffy/runny nose.  However, they are migraines, not CH (husband has CH and we were both seen by the same specialist).
