Hi, I'm new to the forum.
The headaches started in 2000 and were from the beginning severe and excruciating. In the recent couple of years, the headaches have
changed. Stress brings them on.
In the early years, cold ice packs helped.
It's good to find this forum.

If you think ice-packs are helpful, Give oxygen a try.

Welcome to the forum. When you get a chance, give us a more detailed run down of your regimen. A good prevent med? A good abortive? And like Bill said, if you haven't tried oxygen yet......WOW!!! I went from 90 minute plus attacks to killing em in 6-8 minutes by huffing the 02. Do read the link on the left, "oxygen info" as it has to be used correctly or it's next to worthless.

Hi Amy and welcome. o2 is the #1 abortive for most of us here, and there are several options for a preventative, mine is 480 mg Verapamil daily. This has worked fairly well for my past two cycles, but talk to your doc what might be best for you.

You are not alone with these anymore.
