Title: What's for dinner?
Post by Em on Jun 22nd, 2009 at 9:51am
Now that I'm back on food (since Friday, I have only stopped eating to go to bed!), I'm on the look out for inspiration for supper. And seeing as one of our family faves came from here - arroz con pollo - where better to ask!

So folks, what are you having for dinner tonight?

chuletas de puerco on the grill.  (Pork chops, marinated)

I had a heavy lunch (steak, salad and french fries), so tonight the dinner will be light one, probably simply rye bread with slice of ham, salad, tomato slices and side salad.

I'm glad you're back on food, Em! :) Enjoy every bite!

Sloppy Joes and chips!!  Not me tho, I'll be having a salad. :)  We are having company over to celebrate Eli's 6th Birthday (his birthday is actually tomorrow, but Jesse has to work 2nd shift).

Thanks folks.

I still have some aversions to food (one of which is unfortunately red meat), but I'm stashing some of those away for when this baby is born and I can eat whatever I want!! My first meal afterwards will probably be a rare steak, soft-boiled eggs, a big glass of orange juice and a spaghetti bolognese!

Brian - I'm surprised you bother with the recipes  ;)

This was from last Saturday at my neighbor's retirement party, it is a lamb and was very delicious.
