Geezus, you'd think the card would have been declined for that amount!

Hey, if Visa has the funds to cover such a transaction, perhaps THEY could pay the national debt!! :D

LMAO Joe.  Then Swartznegger won't have to legalize pot to get the added taxes.

If he lived in Massachusetts my reaction to that story would be:

People here drive 22 miles to Salamanca, NY to buy smokes cheap on the Indian reservation, fill up on gas and then blow the savings at the casino. Senecas know how to get even.

Great Native American tradition too: Gas, cigarettes and gambling.  :o

After figuring out that my smokes were costing me $50 a carton. And that a rolling chassie for the best recumbent trike in the world was around 51 cartons. Taxes and shipping included. I stopped buying the damn things, and put the money towards the rolling chassie. Of course then there are the wheels to be built, ceramic ABEC-7 bearings, seat webbing, Kevlar and ceramic compound tires, Titanium spline 11-34T Cassette and all those other things that make up a go fast Human Powered Vehicle (HPV). And it goes faster, stops quicker and turns sharper than any bike.

It cost a bit more then  $12 for 1 ONE pack of cigarettes over here or $120 for 1 ONE carton of cigarettes

The Feds started taxing tobacco. I know have to pay $15 for enough to make a carton. I don't know how anyone affords pre made cigarettes anymore.

The debit card story is why I always pay in cash. After the voting machine disaster I will never trust Diebold again.

And $23,000,000,000,000,000 for one pack would be enough to make me start. ;D
