That's cheap. Looks like you are planning to stick with smaller (E size and down) medical tanks with the CGA-870 fitting.
I have no experience with that particular regulator, but the price is half of what I paid for mine. I chose solid brass for a long life because I'm chronic and it get gets a lot of use. There were some nasty fires a few years ago when the aluminum body regulators first came out. (A reaction with high pressure O2 and aluminum) Since then, regulators are built with brass/bronze inserts for the internal surfaces that contact the actual O2. Marc |

Yea, like Jon said in the other thread, I too live in a 2nd story apartment so I'm not sure having a big welding tank is feasible. Thanks again for the advice.

A good non rebreather face mask is also a must. I have one of the Ambu O2ptimasks (available at the CH.com store). Unlike the cheap masks that have the rubber vent valves that fall off, there is no waste of your O2. I set the regulator output high enough that I don't collapse the bag, but not so high that O2 escapes through the output vent without me breathing it first.

Brian,
You've got a prescription for oxygen therapy. Ask your home oxygen supplier for the aluminum Luxfer™ M-size oxygen cylinders. An aluminum M60 has a capacity of 1699 liters and weighs 23 lbs, and the aluminum M holds 3454 liters and weighs 40 lbs. If your present oxygen supplier doesn't carry the Luxfer™ cylinders, call around. The M60 weighs only 15 lbs more than your e-size oxygen cylinders and should give you 7 to 8 aborts so should be great for local travel. The M should give you 15 to 16 aborts. They both have a CGA-540 fittings so one CGA-540 regulator will work for both sizes, Take care, V/R, Batch |

Thanks Batch. So far, the two places I've contacted only carry E tanks and H tanks. I'll keep trying.
