I went almost 3 day's attack free and then what I can only describe as what felt like a lightning bolt go from the back of my head to my eye.
Then on came the CH. Ever since I have had tightening and the lightning bolt feeling. But now I'm getting that feeling in my jaw too.
It doesn't last long, only a few seconds, but it hurts like hell.
I've had shadows so I know what they feel like, and is NOTHING like it.
Anybody else get these? Or know what it is?

I did for some time, and it is overexcitation of nerves, CH is diseases of central nervous system, so all can happen.

What you feel is Trigeminal Neuralgia, can happen together with CH, there is many people on boards with it.

Thanks Matty, it's new to me. It's driving me crazy. I can't get anything to loosen up and the sharp pain SUCKS.

I would on your place go for MRI of brain and spine, and checking Lyme disease blood test.

I had an MRI done a few months ago. But I am a taxidermist so lime disease would be easy for me to get.
I will ask my doctor for a test.
