This is just something I've got to share. A while back I think I told ya'll about this friend of mine who is terminal with cancer. Well, she and I have had a running thing going on about Chuck Norris for years and years. I share a birthday with him and rag her out every year and I don't think she's ever missed an episode of "Walker."
Her birthday came up (probably her last one) and her daughter found his website and sent an e-mail to him telling him about her mother and all. They contacted the daughter and she told them a whole lot more. LSS - Her birthday party was Sunday and she received a lovely letter from Chuck explaining why he was sorry he couldn't be at her party, but he sent her a present and an autographed picture. Monday morning, bright and early I got a phone call from her and she was more upbeat than I've heard her since the doc told her she had cancer. Of course, being me, I told her I called him and told him to do it ;), but that didn't even dampen her cheery mood. I'm sure he didn't even known about it, but he has one heck of a PR dept and I'm really impressed and it made a heck of a difference to her. Just wanted to share - it made my day brighter. Got to agree at least he had the sense to hire good poeple to rep him if it wasnt him. Great to hear some good out there and being noticed.

From what I've heard of him I wouldn't at all be surprised if it was brought to his attention and he was involved personally. He has been known to do such things before. One of the few class acts among actors.
