Hi, I'm Richard. I live in the Netherlands USA Germany Netherlands. New to this site not to CH.

Had a 'jam session' with our friend just a couple of weeks ago, all is quit right now. I've had an intermission for over 2 years and I was some sort of, yes it's weird, longing for it. And lo and behold there it was. I went from  :) to  ;) to  :o and then the rest of the day to  :( (every day - 2 weeks long).

After a visit to the local doctor he prescribed Imigran nosespray and luckily for me that gives much relief!

This 'session' was very different though. Did I use to having a single attack with a day rest in between, this time there were multiple attacks every day! Not very nice when you can only use the nosespray once a day!!!

So, there's a bit of me and my CH. I wish yinz much strength during an attack and speedy relief!

ps. the one that invented this pain should be shot...  :P

The medical literature is reporting that multiple uses per day is not a problem as long as you don't have some pre-existing heart problems. Your doc is being very (excessively??) cautious.

HERE ARE TWO MAJOR DOCUMENTS WITH RECOMMENDED TREATMENTS FOR CLUSTER HEADACHE, ONE FROM A U.S. PHYSICIAN, THE SECOND FROM EUROPE.

Here is a link to read and print and take to your doctor.  It describes preventive, transitional, abortive and surgical treatments for CH. Written by one of the better headache docs in the U.S.  (2002. Rozen)

Look into the oxygen info on the left.  Lifesaver for many of us.
