Got up at 3AM...watched from the deck...saw about 10 in 30 minutes. DJ got up this morning around 5:15...thought it was too late, but said he saw about 4 in just a few minutes...one that was HUGE...left a nice little streak in the sky for a while!!

I was outside watching for about 30 minutes... 2:30-3:00. Saw six, but the moon was rather bright so it may have masked a few.

It always waits until the Perseids are scheduled to make their appearance here to have a storm. We never see the things...Did we ever have a storm the other day! Lots of western NY washed into Lake Erie and the thing wiped out a lot of real estate.

Seen nothing again.. >:(
The Gulf Stream has a lot to answer for, it leaves us with a mild, boring, wet and cloudy climate. I wish we could hook Co. Cork up to a super tug boat and pull us all about 100 miles further south.. :) Lefty...! |

I have a sore neck from looking up and watching 3 nights in a row at the cottage up here in Canada....quite a remarkable show!
