Hi I know I told you guys about my son Scotts situation. The situation got serious. He will be having surgery in Sept at Zale Lipshy University Hospital in Dallas TX. Is anyone familiar with this hospital?

and who knows of accomodations nearby?

please pray for my kid! Its a 20 - 25 hour surgery and I am horrified!

I don't know the hospital, but I do know that with the combined prayers and vibes from this family, everything will be fine!

This is just another opportunity for Scott to give you a few more gray hairs ...

I'm sorry that I don't know about your sons condition, but I did search the hospital website and if your son is a "child" then you may be eligible for the Ronald McDonald house. If you have never been in one they are fabulous. My sister and her husband stayed at one when their baby was at Loma Linda hospital as a baby. While their bedroom was small, the house had all the facilities you need including your own cabinet in kitchen, basket in fridge, cooking area, etc. Even a place to receive visitors. Honestly, if there was an organization I'd considering leaving all my money to it would be that one. Here's a link:
