Different ways to get high flow O2:
- The CGA-540 style connector on an M tank is identical to the threads on a welding tank. A welding regulator can supply waaaaaay more than any person can breathe, but it can also be opened very slowly to provide any flow rate you want. - Depends upon your budget, but the ultimate is a demand valve type medical gas regulator. - If you have two tanks, you can put a cheap ($50) 0-25 lpm on each, then put a "T" in the tubing to get 50 lpm if you need it (That's a lot) Marc |

Sounds right. My invoice shows RR510-300T1. I also got the "DISS" fitting for a demand valve. I don't have the Demand valve yet, but the reg works great without it too. This is a high quality unit.
In case you're not aware the reg's come in right or left side mounting. Not a big deal but I had to change sides on my tank, just spun it around. I love my regulator, my plan is to order an E-tank one too, but the 25lpm on it now works great too. Best of Luck, Don |

I have not had any dealing with the Southeast Oxygen people. Several people (that I know of) have the FloTec units and are VERY happy with them! I would go the FloTec unit. As Don pointed out (and I forgot to) order the unit, CGA540, 60 LPM, and with both the nipple AND the DISS fitting on it. The reason for this is that your O2PTIMASKTM connects to the nipple connection. In the future, if you decide to switch to the demand valve system, you will already have the regulator that it would connect to, as the demand valve needs the DISS fitting for it. Th FloTec only goes to 60 LPM and the other goes to 70 LPM. You do NOT need that extra 10 LPM. 60 LPM is more than you will be able to handle for any length of time. I am sure the FloTec will unit will make you VERY happy! Chuck |
