Good post. This never occured to me. >:(

Some of these monster corporate farms don't care where the stuff they use to produce what they do comes from nor do they care what happens to the family farm. There are fewer of them in western NY. They aren't able to hold on.

i've seen some pretty nasty cattle factories out west of Amarillo. millions of cows living on top of each other on top of their own shit. then they cut 'em up and we eat it.
