Title: Having good luck this summer Post by starlight on Aug 25th, 2009 at 5:03pm
August almost over and have skipped the CH cycle that was due this summer. I am episodic for past 20 years.
What did I do different? People can find humor in this (please do! I do!) or perhaps find something useful. 1) Went for 2-3 mile walks a few times a week wearing flip-flops. This is not a joke. I am a walker and find walking in flip-flops may have some type of acupressure affect. 2) Took vitamins C, E, and magnesium (recommended by a neurologist to be taken daily if prone to clusters) along with 6 mg melatonin at night, vitamin B-6, B-50 and vitamin D. These are the only 2 things I have done different. The cycle has been skipped. Perhaps delayed, don't know, but I have not had it. I wish everyone the best. If anyone can find anything here that helps, God bless! P.S. Did have a few strong shadows in the AM--noonish time over the summer (only a couple)--they amounted to nothing. |

Just when you think you know the beast he changes things up on you.
It may be the additives and exercise or it just may be that the beast is playing with you. What every the cause I am glad you have had a relatively pain free summer! I'd put a high five smiley here if we had one :D |

Guiseppi has skipped a cycle or two also, and he also takes magnesium and melatonin.

Ginger,
Thanks for the high five! QN Heart, That is really interesting about Guisseppi. I am suspicious that the vitamins are playing the biggest role. I hope to God someone can find something useful in this. To me this is an achievement as it will be the longest remission period in 20 years since I was 14 years old, and hopefully maybe helps others. I |

"suspicious" meaning that I do suspect that the vitamins are playing the biggest role
