I hated Ted's politics, and wanted him out of office, but I did not want him to die.

He was the last of an era ...

Who do you think is going to take lead over the family now and who takes his Senate seat?

Caroline? She's got big money!

Caroline is too smart for that.....I hope.

Politics has gotten about as appealing as a colonoscopy. I feel sorry for young types that never saw the earlier Kennedys. They made it fun. You had to be there. No one laughs anymore.

It really is a sad day. Camelot is gone. As Charlie said - you just had to be there.

I'm sad for his family. His wife is a cousin of a very good friend of mine and my heart goes out to her.

It's sad also that an era has closed. The day when politics COULD be fun - you could disagree and still be friends. From what the news is saying - Teddy was the last hold out for that.

RIP Teddy. Regardless of your politics - you will be missed...

He's facing a different judge now.

I do feel for his family.  It always hurts to lose one you love.

He won't be able to dodge the killing of Mary Jo Kopechne in front of this judge.  He should have gone down for manslaughter or murder 2 back in '69.
