Antioch is a sleepy little town at the mouth of the delta where I lived prior to moving to N.C., never thought something like what I saw on the news would happen there.

Jeff, did you post a link?  Because I cannot see it.

I know where that is...what happened?

Well, I know the Antioch Baptist Church from the Charlie Daniels song 'Uneasy Rider'. But it's not Antioch CA, for sure. :)

As someone being immensely interested in serial killers, I've been following this case.

Why does the media always use serial killers full names, Like John Wayne Gacy? Why don't they just say John Gacy, or that F__ked up killer clown?

My thought is that it's easier to remember when something so familiar as John Wayne" is part of it. It's a sort of nemonic.

By the way; thanks for the seial killer site. This kind of thing has some perverse appeal for me....not that there's anything wrong.......oh wait a minute! Getting some hints, Charlie?

I hope we don't see you on the 6 o'clock news in a clock tower thinning out the neighborhood!

Hmmm, just what is your middle name???

In my part of the world we don't hear a lot about American serial killers.
I guess we hear it now, coz the case is somewhat similar to the two Austrian cases.

The only two cases I clearly remember being on Dutch news, was Jeffrey Dahmer and more than a decade later Dennis Rader.
Maybe it's because there are just no more serial killer heroes like in the seventies and eighties, haha.

Maybe it's time for another Zodiac.....

Time for the board to weigh in on him?

Jaycee actually turned herself in to the Concord P.D.

My wife thinks it's weird but I'm also intrigued be serial killers. I live 10 miles from Antioch and have been following on the local news. This case gets more and more bizarre every day!

Holy shit!
I worked across from Buchanon field next to the Toyota dealer. If ya get a chance, eat at Paradise. The asain place with the stone lions outside. And if your single, try the bar. The women are drop dead gorgeous. And don't forget about Kinder's BBQ. I'd friggin kill a man for their BBQ ribs!

I know the airport well, have eaten at Paradise and I eat Kinders once every couple of months.
Small friggin' world buddy!
As far as the bar goes, my wife would kick my sorry ass if I went out pickin' up the ladies.
Where did you work?
Mike

I don't think it's weird. Serial killers are the closest to true evil we can encounter, and the fact we cannot understand their actions just goes to show us we are indeed normal and have empathy for the victims.
