I'm posting this because some of us use herbs to help our headaches. This was posted on another board I frequent, so I figured I may as well post it here.

Make sure your regular doctors know what all herbs you take, just as you would let them know what all medications you're on.

It's always good to check for interactions first, and to be aware of possible interactions that no one has discovered.

Not sure about the SJW and steroid info ... at one time, there was a concern that SJW would cause the body to metabolize sex steroids faster, thus making oral contraceptives less effective. Recent research has contradicted that theory. And I haven't seen much info on SJW and corticosteroids, but the most recent study showed that SJW does not have much effect on prednisone:
