Hi,7 year lurker and 1st time poster.After thinking I was cured,lol,from a chiropractic approach,it all ended when i entered a cycle last few days.
Had a couple good years with few 'cluster' headaches,well never entered a cycle in 2 years but had many ch's in between.Had me the classic '10' yesterday,just armed with my ice pack from lunch cooler,cried like a bitchin baby and the voila,20 -30 minutes later it vanishes in seconds! you know :(
well got hit this morning with a 6 and ice pack got me thru it,but,got slammed with another one(8) and tried the ice to no avail,check my oxygen tanks that I knew were empty and yup,they sure were! :(
for some strange reason during my pain I just peeked under my bed hopin to find a 'spare' tank,lol,and there was a tank,i pulled that tank like catching a fish in water barehanded,and theres a white seal covering the holes!!!!! hahahahaa

I had oxygen! Im not into religion but just looked up and said thank you! lol

rest is history :)

btw,Im Patrick,and cluster headaches suck!  :D

I know exactly how you feel mate. I had the same story but with Imirgran injection (Imitrex in U.S). Once I was preferring death to the pain and sickness I was having, and I was searching my old ampules knowing I am doing complete nonsense, and guess what? I found half an ampule still there and not used!!! I felt exactly what you said. It was the best feeling in the world. :)
