Any northern cali clusterheads out there. I started shadowing a few weeks back. it's not bad yet, it's about 2-3/week around the same time and its just enough to be annoying right at a kip 3-4. i was hoping to make some friends close to me in san fran before it gets worse. any advise on how to meet CHs out here i'm open too. thanks family :-/

Hi there,
I live in Santa Cruz. I'm 24. I haven't visited this site in nearly five years as I have been cluster free since I moved here from the Tahoe area where they plagued me off and on since 4th grade (mostly during the winters). The last few weeks however, I have began getting them fairly bad. Some 5-7 kip. They started out only really happening when my blood sugar was low (waiting too long to eat breakfast), or with a hangover ;). For about the last week they have been getting much worse. Fortunately, I've been able to control them pretty well by not consuming alcohol (which is tough for me, but a bit of a blessing to be honest), drinking several cups of water daily, and drinking a cup of coffee in the morning. If I don't drink coffee in the morning I'm screwed and will get a good one around noon. Light shadows have been pretty constant, but they aren't really a big deal, just a constant annoying reminder that this disease has returned to my life after years of thinking that I might have grown out of them. Keep me posted on how you're doing. Best, -Nick |

Hey
I'm also a bay area clusterhead. I live about half hour (to 3 hours ;D depending on traffic) south of The City in Sunnyvale. I have only been dealing with clusters for about a year I guess, but daily for most of it. ::) I love people, and if you ever wanna meet up sometime, I'm in... I would advise starting a thread in the meet & greet section though - give others a chance to see, join!! ;) Val |
